How are shoe sizes calculated

Determine your shoe size

Determine your correct shoe size:

Having a foot measuring stick on hand makes it easy to determine your shoe size.

You can also measure your feet very precisely this way:

  1. Stand barefoot on a piece of paper or cardboard and draw the outline of your feet. Hold the pen straight up and draw very close to the foot.

  2. Then measure the distance from the big toe to the end of the heel.

  3. Feet are often of different sizes. Take the measurement of the larger foot and read off your shoe size in the following table:

Not only are feet different, but the shoes sometimes turn out differently depending on the manufacturer and model. In addition, the question arises, do I wear the model barefoot, with a thin sock or with thick woolen socks?

So shoes have to be tried on. This is the only way to determine whether the shoe suits you and your feet. You have to feel good! It should be noted that good shoes made of strong leather also have to be broken in and cannot always be comfortable from day one.
