How do Hawaiian sweet rolls taste

Pani Popo - steamed coconut bread

Finally - this is the recipe from Pão de Deus, my favorite breakfast in Lisbon - like steamed noodles with coconut from the bakery, it has to be! Thanks, I would bake that IMMEDIATELY and several times in a row. Kind regards, Christine

Ui, I would like to try these funny-sounding breads ... Then I like to make creams for dessert, of course coconut goes well with it ... piña colada ... oh yes, now that the lactation period is coming to an end ... So I'm ready for this coconut package ....: - D

Exactly this bread - I'm already looking to order the flour. Thanks for the tip. And since I always bake my Kaiserschmarren in coconut oil, the package would be made for me

Wonderful dear Marian! I'm deeply in love when we've been to Hawai’i twice and we have friends there….

I should do a Lu’au again, Ahi Poki and Kalua,…. With a campfire and Pani’Popo for dessert ... Oh! Thanks for the inspiration and for being there!

Mmmmhh they look deliciously fluffy, perfect for a summer picnic! I would not only make the pani popo with it, but also coconut mango cupcakes and a delicious coconut curry with mango. I love everything with coconut so definitely also raspberry coconut mango smoothie or a shake with homemade coconut ice cream

When I saw the photo, I immediately thought of steamed noodles ... My favorite dish ... Something similar with coconut? It just has to taste fantastic ... After I happen to have all the ingredients in the kitchen cupboard, I will probably bake today. Thanks for the recipe.

Hello,
I baked the recipe. Unfortunately, the pani popo were already nice and brown at the top, but when I took them out of the mold, they were still doughy and light at the bottom.
I baked these in the middle of the oven. Do you have any advice on how to avoid this? I will definitely bake them in the lower section of the oven next time.
