Exercising and smoking weed?

of Jolly »09 Feb 2006 20:05

Hello everybody,

I have a different opinion, because the THC uses up all the vitamins and so the body can break them down.
Is that maybe so that it even leads to muscle loss?

What do you think about it, now your knowledge is in demand guys: P

write what you think of it.

if it does not affect his eating habits and his fighting spirit during training is no more or less harmful than any other type of smoking (cigarette smoking)
RIP is an abbreviation for:
ribosome inhibiting protein

"only" heavy weights lead to heavier muscles ...

no, but I want to know whether this can lead to muscle loss in general or not.
Because that's a drug ... THC

Is that good for the muscles are you going to tell me?

Re: exercising and smoking weed?

So I trained myself for about 8 years and smoked weed every day. the nutrition was still good. now i have 4 years of training without smoking weed. For the entire 12 years, I kept a record of weight, diet, type of training, etc.

I couldn't see any difference in muscle building from smoking weed. so purely in terms of structure, the effects should be negligible. Nevertheless, this is not a call to smoke weed, as it can have negative effects in the rest of life ...

If you don't care about these side effects, you don't need to worry about building muscles. it can even help to increase the appetite. but never before training, otherwise the aggressiveness is missing ...

well then that means that I can smoke a big joint after training without hesitation and nothing would happen to my muscles in the long run?
(that's how I understood you)

But if I smoke a joint, I absolutely cannot fall asleep, nor do I get addicted to it.

???

So I don't know about not sleeping. I've always slept wonderfully. but that with not being addicted, I also talked myself into it for 8 years. but why did I smoke smoke every day for 8 years? not addicted ??? ;-)

I don't know how often you've always smoked a joint, but I, for example. I only smoke maybe 3 joints a month (and have been for three years, whom I would call an addiction)
But for me, drugs are not my world, no drugs, I just don't do that because of colleagues and more, and there won't be any addiction either.

But I still don't know whether this will damage the muscles or not, I bet my friend that this is shit.

Answers with theories please: D

Smoking weed definitely damages muscle building.

Someone who smokes weed regularly (> 2-3 times a week) will not have the bite and ambition that they could have without weed. I know that myself, as soon as I smoked something a little more often, this 0-Bock attitude began, then the training was neglected, the diet shit, etc. etc. etc.
Smoking weed also lowers the body's own testosterone production.

As long as you don't overdo it, you can also build up well ..
I myself still smoke about 1-2 times a month just because I have a lot of fun smoking one with colleagues .. I hardly notice any harmful effects on training .. but if you have trained without training for 6 months you notice that a ticking more because the mentality is changing.
You don't have to do without anything, I still live with BB and not for BB and that's why I treat myself to something every now and then and still stuff - if people with moral sermons say "stop smoking pot for the first time, start according to plan." eat etc. etc. before you stuff "then I can only laugh myself broken because I don’t give a shit. Everyone should know for themselves how much effort their body is worth to them.
Even if it sounds stupid to some, I prefer to drive 100mg more per week and smoke one for it and in the end I have the same results.
Nevertheless, I try to be very strict during training and halfway with nutrition - at least enough kcal and protein are always in it, whether the rest of the composition is really top doesn't matter to me.

b) Smoking weed also lowers the body's own testosterone production.

a) I can also imagine

b) do you know that 100% and why is that so ???

c) I do that from time to time, but I can also imagine it as you mean with the 6 months without smoking weed.

d) I don't know if you train on fabric but I train nature, assuming you train nature (except creatine and co.) I believe that you will simply get worse results with the joints.

And I want to have a correct theory, already googled but somehow I can't find anything that answers my question correctly.

So guys come on let's clear that up here: P

that's kind of like .....
no matter how much you smoke, as long as you don't lose your bite during training, it doesn't do any harm more or less than cigarettes!
and that's that.
For 12 years I smoked weed every damn day likeN schlot.
But it actually does not matter.
Smoking is a thing of the past for me, but it has more to do with my stamina than with building muscles ...
greetings and well

so i am against drugs, i would like to have said that before!

I've tried that too, it's been a long time , I could not find any negative effects. I slept like a baby. In contrast to an alcohol intoxication, that's not exactly my thing - disgusting.

But I also know several people who regularly hiss and they are not that bad in terms of performance
