How do I rest a pole saw

Ökostadt Rhein-Neckar e. V.

 Saturday 7th December 2019

"Everything is asleep? No way!"

Sindy Simone Grambow, qualified biologist, orchard pedagogue

Winter has returned to the orchard meadow. One would actually think that the orchard meadow is now quiet. In fact, even in winter, all kinds of animals cavort in this habitat and leave their traces. Together we search for clues and see which residents overslept the cold season and which use the orchards in winter despite the bitter cold. Of course, we also look at the trees and pay attention to their condition. How to cut an apple tree, what to consider and what to avoid, we will work out with telescopic scissors and pole saws directly on the tree and thus hold a small taster course in fruit tree care.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes as well as a backpack with snacks and drinks and secateurs - if available.
